Deeply concerned, That is has not being legalize when it can be used
as medicine, it can create more space in prisons, and government can
make money from it.
Aware: That marijuana has bad effects. It can also be used as medical
medicine, “Researches found that cannabis produced significant
objective improvement in Tourette’s disease and neuropathic” ( Corey,
2005).
Realizing: in 2005, “Marijuana prisoners” equaled about 12.6% of those
incarcerated for drug law violations and about 3.2% of total state and
federal prisoners. Compared to 2010, the number of “marijuana
prisoners” had increased by about 15%. (Washington, DC: US Department
Of Justice, October 2010).
Affirming: The government should legalize it and tax it just like
cigarettes and alcohol.
1.) Proposal a bill to push the government to allow marijuana to be
legal for medical purposes, and personal use.
2.) Applauds to the governors of Washington State and Rhode Island,
who petioned the federal government to reclassify marijuana as a drug
with accepted medical issues.
3.) Demands the government to pass a law that controls the drug and
also to use it.
4.) Expresses the hope of forming an agreement to help patients deal
with their pain and to keep violent criminals in jail.

Deeply concerned by the incarcerations that marijuana has put in the United States, a lot of people have been getting arrested for possession of marijuana.
Realizing marijuana has the potential to make positive things in the world.
Encouraging Democrats and Republicans that marijuana is not that big of a deal like other dangerous drugs.
Affirming if marijuana were to be legal people would only be able to carry small amounts of it per day.
Stressing that marijuana would bring more conflict in the streets; the U.S. thinks they would not benefit from legalizing marijuana.
Taking into account marijuana could help people in many different ways like when they are experiencing pain and are stressed out.
1. Proposes that all states legalize marijuana for medicinal purposes, recognizing that more progress needs to be made
2. Applauds the sixteen states that have legalized marijuana for medicinal purposes
3. Suggests that the U.S. consider the amount of money
4.Demands that we discourage laws that target Black and Brown youth
5. Expresses the hope that if marijuana gets legalized the problems like gang violence and drug cartels will decrease in the United States
